Sustainability

Nature is Sandra Weil’s favorite and most recurrent inspiration.

She believes in sustainability, fair trade, and making a positive impact in the world.

We are working at building a transparent and environmentally responsible supply chain. We cherish our planet so much, it is only fair we play a part in cleaning up our footprint.

Sandra Weil works through an ethical supply chain that creates high-quality, low-impact, durable products. In efforts to scale back waste, we only sell what we produce and our garments are made in limited edition promoting responsible consumption. We carefully consider our materials and work with our production partners to avoid chemicals and plastics that are harmful to our environment.

Sandra Weil strives to use the most sustainable materials. We carefully source our fabrics, promoting work with communities all around the world.

Sandra Weil x Neutraloop

We believe a more responsible future in fashion can be built if we all work together to achieve it. This is why we partnered with Neutraloop to reduce our environmental impact. With our latest collections, each of our items will have reduced impact by supporting the Yacumama Reforestation Project in the Amazon through the purchase of carbon credits.

Purchasing carbon credits compensates the unavoidable emissions created today through any production, by financing projects, such as the Yacumama Project, that reduce or absorb carbon emissions anywhere in the world.

This effort is part of our desire to be closer to nature and to – along with partners and customers – advocate for more environmentally-friendly and sustainable solutions.

We want to take our responsibility in doing our best to reduce the environmental impact of our products, but want to empower our customers too. Collaboration is key to transform our industry, and with the support of Neutraloop, we have also selected two key social development projects in Peru and Ghana. These projects are aligned with Sandra Weil’s values and we hope our customers will support these projects through donations for a positive change in the fashion industry.

Cats with a heart

An initiative that aims at raising awareness and funds to end child exploitation in the fashion industry through the making and selling of cuddly plush cats and t-shirts. They also pursue other social responsibilities such as reducing landfill waste from fashion brands and creating jobs for women in vulnerable situations.

CWAH donates 50% of the proceeds to reputable organizations working against child labor, such as Save the Children MexicoSave the Children USClub de Niños y Niñas de México, and Bachpan Bachao Andolan (BBA).

These cats are made out of fabrics donated by designers and fashion brands. All the collaborators are socially conscious brands based all over the world. Among those long term supporters are Reformation, Emilio de la Morena, Mara Hoffman, and Sandra Weil.

Where are they Produced?

The cats and CWAH t-shirts are made in different Mexican prisons, all in Mexico.

Why Cats?

Cats represent loving yet independent creatures. Their aim is to make children in need feel loved and protected as the basis for their education and development to become independent adults.

All profits will go to Cats With A Heart.

Each CWAH has a heart inserted during production so you can feel it to the touch and it reminds you that with that purchase you are touching someone's heart too.

We have been overcoming the adversities under a mantra:

Be the change you wish to see. The only constant in life is change
